5 Simple Steps To Scheduling

A Consult With Jim

1. Read and agree to the Guidelines

2. Send information asked below

3. Checkout on the page link sent to you

4. Get on the schedule

5. Prepare for the session

Jim Pavett is more than happy to schedule some time with you to help you with your schooling, overall concepts, or with equipment/studio designs. Jim manages multiple companies, which makes his time limited, so it’s imperative to be prepared to get the most out of your session. Please read the guidlines below.

Guidelines

1. English is the preferred language

Actually, it is the only language he knows. :)

2. There is a one hour minimum

To start off with, you will need at least an hour. In most cases Jim will suggest more than one hour. See below.

3. No refunds for missed/late sessions

Scheduling across state lines or internationally can be confusing. Jim is on UTC -7 with no Daylight Savings ever. Please check your UTC time zone for the date of booking.

4. All sessions prepaid at time of booking

All it takes is payment on the order page (which Jim will send) to get you on the schedule for this awesome session.

5. Zoom equipment working

Make sure you have everything like screen share, cameras, audio working before the session.

In general Jim has found that 2 to 3 hour sessions are great for schooling and design philosophy questions. More than that is likely too much information to digest. Less can often cut things off right when the session is finding its groove. Unless you have a few simple questions, it will probably take more than an hour.

Also, if you are looking for help in design or a question like “how do I hook a monitor controller?”, keep in mind that Jim needs a lot of context to make those determinations. He is not a psychic! The more prepared you are on your end, with visuals, the better suited you are to get the best out of Jim’s expertise.
